Our story ✦

Karley (she/her) and Rob (he/him) are the founders of Star Sign Thrift.  Prior to opening Star Sign, Karley was working as the manager of a small thrift store, while Rob was also working as a retail manager. They were both following passion projects, selling their art and baked goods as a side gig for extra income. When the opportunity arose to open their very own thrift store, the decision came easy and Star Sign Thrift was born!

Being a plus size person herself, Karley was very adamant on making the space accessible for bodies of all sizes. She has an understanding of how frustrating thrifting can be, while shopping and not finding much that's in her size or her personal vibe!  Rob’s experience with shopping for clothes as a queer person has been different, yet similarly challenging in finding a space he can feel comfortable trying on an array of clothing types without judgement.

Our mission is to ensure Star Sign will always be a safe place for anyone; of any gender, expression, and size.” -Karley & Rob
